The stackable “Kufenstuhl”, designed by Klemens Grund, was produced for the Handwerk+Form 2026 competition. The design takes a construction typically associated with metal furniture and reinterprets it in wood.

The sled base provides stability while allowing for slender leg profiles. A 3D-printed component at the intersection of the wooden elements creates the offset required for stacking.

The chair is made of oak.
