The wall-mounted storage unit “Schirmant”, designed by Peter Waller, was produced for the Handwerk+Form 2026 design competition. It provides space for five everyday items such as umbrellas or walking sticks.

Wall mounting keeps the floor clear, while a removable drip tray collects any remaining moisture. The slender retaining collars are reinforced with dowels, making them durable enough for everyday use.

The materials used are elm wood and stainless steel.
