Hard shell, soft core: Day & Night is a pull-out sofa with upholstered seat and back cushions (mattresses) as well as side cushions.

With a simple pull-out mechanism, it converts into a comfortable guest bed for two. The cushions, with their dedicated day and night sides, provide a high level of comfort for both sitting and sleeping. Optionally available with two large storage drawers.

The sofa was designed by German designer Sabine Bischof and was first entered in the Handwerk+Form design competition.
